Like a cigarette after a long run or a glass of whiskey after a complicated game followed by a flared pain in the hip; like something forbidden and cursed, broken just as all things about him were. It was hard to untangle a mystery why he would want to add Rhemann in a list of his habits. But then again, he had never asked for answers, either. (Or, David Wymack, his mutual attraction to his rival, James Rhemann, two times when refuses to act upon it, and one when he finally gets to misbehave as much as he wants.)
