I usually don’t like selfish characters who will do anything for power.....
However I loved Alessandra Stathos who is basically a character like this. But she is so well written that I loved her and wanted her to succeed in getting power.
The Shadows Between Us is described as a slytherin romance and I whole heartly agree with that description.
People also say its enemies-to lovers but I disagree with this. I would say it more fake dating (or in this case fake courting) with a dash of murder.
