@rhandi-dandy​ Ahh THANK YOU! I tend to gravitate creatively towards works of fiction that have large plot holes, or simply lots of wiggle room for personal in-between-scenes headcanons, which describes a lot of fast-paced shonen works, so I actually appreciate DBZ’s lack of character development because it gives me more sand to build my own sandcastles, as it were. I’m glad you like my interpretations!!

Ginyu Force are characters I’m really interested in tackling someday because they were really significant to the hostile environment Vegeta grew up in. I don’t actually know much about what fanon has done for them, but I always appreciate creator’s passions for fleshing out minor characters <33

Ahhh, I’m glad the old feels are welcome <333 DBZ was absolutely the Shit for me in Elementary to Middle School, so I totally get that “i thought these feels were long dead but gosh the nostalgia hits haaard” <3

Y’know, I haven’t actually watched Super so I only peripherally know what they’ve done to Future!Trunks, and little of it appeals to me, because I actually kinda wanted the universes to stay separate? Future Trunks’ world is irreversably altered -- and he belongs there, not on the main timeline universe, hum...

But if I had to re-introduce him, I’d lock the timelines chronologically speaking, so he can’t just appear at any point in time he pleases. That is to say, next time he visits, it’s nowhere near Z-timeline -- probably edging into GT timeline. That puts more weight on the effect of time passing, yanno? Otherwise it feels kinda cheap.

Though I haven’t put much thought into it. I’ve been bouncing around an idea in my head of Future!Gohan getting resurrected and having to Deal with everything being different, but that’s more to do with the drama I created between him and Trunks and Bulma that I itch to resolve than any desire to mesh the main timeline and alternate timelines. I’ll think about it, though!
