Droid December 2025: RG-G1
This month's theme is DROIDS and the medium is COLLAGE and I'm so not skilled in collage work... However, look how cute GG turned out! As with probably most creations this month, it looks better in person.

A Happy May the Fourth to you! Let’s all remember the friends we made along the way.
Thank you George Lucas, Dave Filoni, and the rest of the creative team who created a series I binge-watched in 2015 and for finally tying in the loose ends in such a bittersweet yet satisfying way. Thank you Kevin Kiner for composing a score that resonates, and thank you to all of the talented voice actors for deepening the intense emotions that were already layered into these final episodes altogether.
This series will remain one of my favorites forever.
It was far from the most impactful scene in the episode, but I can’t help but feel we’re all sleeping on the fact that the clones straight-up executed a couple of droids (one of whom had his “hands” up in a surrendering gesture) for helping Ahsoka and Rex. R7 got caught in the firefight, but CH-33P and RG-G1 were shot at point-blank, execution range by troopers. I don’t know, that moment left an impact with me. Not to take anything away from those final couple scenes, but...yeah. I feel like this needs to be talked about more.
This was the saddest part. Poor droids.
