So seriously-how to keep the Star Wars universe from constantly being a disaster? Just let Astromech droids run everything. I mean seriously, R2 D2, Chopper, and BB 8 (I haven’t watched everything so I don’t know if I’m missing any others) are miracle droids who literally save everybody’s behinds several times. The heroes would never have survived without them. Never underestimate a droid.
More than one Star Wars movie or show has the lovable/grumpy Astromech droid that would do anything for his family and saves them constantly by being able to adapt to many situations. I’m sure there are more Astromechs like that. Other droids can help too.
A solid 50% of the noises that the swtor astromech droids make hit my ears like nails on a chalk board. It honestly hurts and I have to hurriedly skip through the conversation whenever I have to talk to one.
It was far from the most impactful scene in the episode, but I can’t help but feel we’re all sleeping on the fact that the clones straight-up executed a couple of droids (one of whom had his “hands” up in a surrendering gesture) for helping Ahsoka and Rex. R7 got caught in the firefight, but CH-33P and RG-G1 were shot at point-blank, execution range by troopers. I don’t know, that moment left an impact with me. Not to take anything away from those final couple scenes, but...yeah. I feel like this needs to be talked about more.

Meet B2-ST. She works in a smuggler's cantina, serving drinks.
She needs some guns to protect herself from the scoundrels that come in.
The 2019 Halloween astromech Droid just showed up at the Star Trader in Tomorrowland, Disneyland. They're on a shelf near the Build Your Own Lightsaber. I love the skeleton vibes. R5-B0019 will be right at home on my Halloween shelf.
I am in love with the new Star Wars Kids “Roll Out”, where almost everyone is BB-8 shaped, so I made these gifs.Â
