Okay seriously tho. Out of all towns, why choose the one that SPECIALLY doesn't allow stags??? Why plan a stay there??? What was so special about that place that said "oh hell yeah we dudes are gonna get SO WASTED in this *checks notes* quaint village with no major attractions and one (1) pub-"
It's like Toby was PLANNING for it to fail. And it's not like the town doesn't know about the actual consequences either, cause that teenager that told the group that they're all gonna die was literally dressed as one of the Red Caps. Sure, he didn't seem serious, so the kids probably think it's some sort of legend or myth or something. But the adults know. So...the townspeople are familiar enough with the outcomes of stags that they know what the consequences are. Everyone barred their doors and closed their shutters to avoid it.
Not to mention the Coraline bullshit that happened to Felix when he went on that run (I got goosebumps genuinely. Does this mean that no one can leave if a stag is commencing? Or just the main 5???)
What I'm saying is. This all would've been avoided if they let Eggy plan the stag 😔✊
