Devi was used to meeting new people, plenty of conventions and meet and greets over the years had primed her for strangers but this was a bit different..and considering everything, she felt a little out of place. Eyeimg one of the other contestants by the pool she sidled over to them with what she hoped was an approachable smile. “So are you more of a May or a Lilliana...or an Ishy?” Devi asked, wondering if they’d even watched the first season the way she had.

Elle was admiring the house with a glass of champagne in her hand, it was definitely smaller than the angles they used on TV made it appear, but she would live - hopefully. To be fair, she wasn’t entirely sure why she’d come on this show but during a high, everything seems like a great idea. Having arrived in the kitchen, the blonde was surveying the food situation when she heard footsteps. Glancing over her shoulder, she turned slightly in their direction with a smirk, a marriage of mischief and motives on her lips. “How open are you to striking up a deal? And can you cook?” She’d certainly never had to really learn - she figured she could follow directions on the meal kits but if she didn’t have to? Even better.

While she waited for the drama to start, Carla sipped at the virgin cocktail. She knew from experience that a clear head could be the difference between a fun night and a memorable disaster. She caught someone's eyes and raised her glass. "I'm finding the reality show experience quite peaceful so far, don't you think? Almost too peaceful." She could bet the public was already placing bets for who would be the first to fall in love, to fall from grace, or, at least, to fall in the pool. "Maybe the plan is to get us to relax now so we'll be truly shocked by whatever they'll throw at us later."

It was getting later into the night, and the party had well and truly kicked off. People had started pairing up already, and the forming of ally ships, situationships and sinking ships was evident to any watchful eyes. Darcy sipped at her drink, that was watered down substantially. If any of her plans were to work, she had to keep her wits about her. The truth was, she’d been slacking. She let herself get blinded by the excitement and the newness of it all, and hadn’t even started ticking off her list. She’d retired to her room for a spell to grab a card game from her bag, but heard that someone had eventually followed her. Glancing up at them, she wondered how to proceed. She could have some fun away from the prying eyes of other contestants. “Want to play a game?”
