We were talking about Rey's parentage. Because I can't just sit back and believe that she somehow really is no one from nowhere. It has been my belief from the beginning that she is Obi-Wan's granddaughter, and I was taking with two other people, one who believes she is a Skywalker, and the other who believes she is a Palpetine. The video we were looking at was of her vision on Takodona, when she first found the lightsaber, so I started pulling evidence out of the video itself.

Since this is her first contact with the Force really making itself known to her (that we know of), we can assume it is showing her something about herself. So let's take inventory. She hears plenty of voices in her vision. So likely one of them has a connection to her.

Vader: *yells* (one line)

Luke: *yells* (one line)

Yoda: "...surrounds us...and binds us..." (one line)

Palpetine: "...the power of..." (one line)

Obi-Wan: "You will be tempted." "Rey?" "These are your first steps." (THREE lines)

If Rey is a skywalker, you'd expect to hear more from the skywalker family in this scene. As it is, we hear Luke yell, and we hear Vader yell. We hear nothing from Leia. If she were a skywalker, I'd expect to hear at least some words from them. And I might even expect something from Hayden Christinen, since he played Anakin.

However, we not only hear Obi-Wan speak, he speaks directly to her and EVEN SAYS HER NAME. He is the only character to do this in the whole vision, which is significant because the words he speaks are either an early memory, or he is reaching out to her from the netherworld of the force. Possibly both. Either way, he is keeping an eye on her.

Also, there is something very significant in his last line to her, "These are your first steps." That being, it is the only piece of dialogue from one of the force voices to not be recycled from one of the other movies. Ewan mcgreggor was asked to come and record one. Line.

They wouldn't have gone to all the trouble of paying him and lining up the studio date and everything if it wasn't important.
