“I can’t get over how a few months ago I wanted to learn your name and now you’re having breakfast with me in my sweater on Valentine’s Day.”

George sat across from Jayden, a respectable wooden table given the state of the rest of his flat covered in breakfast foods between them. He had spent most of the morning in the kitchen with his boyfriend making heart-shaped pancakes (Well...they were supposed to be heart-shaped, but many turned out looking more like...how many sides did a pentagon have again?), eggs, and French toast with pink food coloring.

He felt Jayden's feet brush against his calves as they ate in relative silence, simply basking in each other's company. The corner of George's lips quirked up into a soft smile as he took a moment to place down his fork and simply gaze at Jayden.

His eyes roamed over the man's near dangerous jawline, the curls of his messy morning hair, the little bits of stubble beginning to grow. Most importantly, he admired the way Jayden looked absolutely ravishing in George's own sweater. It didn't take long for his object of affection to notice and cover his mouth with his hand as he smiled.

"What?" George asked, a giggle bubbling up at Jayden's giddy smile.

"You're staring, mate." A delicate blush dusted Jayden's face and George thought it was possibly the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

"Well, forgive me for staring. I just can't get over how a few months ago I wanted to learn your name and now you're having breakfast with me, in my sweater, on Valentine's day."

Jayden flushed further at the sentiment and kicked George under the table. "You calling me easy?" The corners of his eyes crinkled as he smiled and George felt as though he was falling for Jayden all over again. Every day he fell in love with this man again, and he had no issue with this.
