Howard County Executive revokes permit for potential ICE detention center

First off: BOOYA BITCHES! 

Whew I feel better now...

Okay...

1. This is making news similar to the MEGXIT announcement. Maybe not on the same SHOCKING scale because we have been given teasers all week in regards to what may or may not happen. Whereas MEGXIT was sudden and come out of the sky like a flying saucer. My mom called me this morning because she saw it on FoxNews...FoxNews people...that tells you that this is being picked up by other than the normal expected news channels here in the US.

2. The BP Statement was clear that The Queen and Harry were involved in the discussions. That tells me Meghan was either not invited to particpate or she wasn’t inclined. 

3.  A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said: "As evidenced by their work over the past year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the UK and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organisations they have represented regardless of official role.”

This petulant statement tells me that not only are they pissed but they also do not plan to go quietly into the night if they can help it. This is similar to them protesting their right of use of the word “Royal.” They claimed that the Queen doesn’t own the word “Royal” but that they will not use it out of deference to her. To me this screams that Meghan and Harry have every intention of involving themselves in these charities/organizations if at all possible. What I foresee is William getting CG of the Royal Marines and Harry going behind his back and making Zoom calls or giving interviews or statements as often as possible to diminish William or whoever’s roles. Same with Meghan and the Commonwealth roles they had. 

4. The announcement today tells me that the Oprah interview has already taken place this week. I expect the Palace was waiting on confirmation so that they could release this statement without this issue being brought up in the interview. I bet we start getting promos next week...

That is all I have for now. Friday’s are my busiest days at work so I will try and keep up with asks and the drama as much as possible!.
