She will be equipped with some of the most impressive on-board features ever seen on a yacht, including the ability to collect and generate energy from 5 tonnes of ocean plastics per day.
She will be used primarily as a research platform for studying the world’s oceans and finding solutions to problems including climate change, overfishing and plastic pollution.
She has been commissioned by ocean research company Rosselinis Four-10.

LANGSTEN, Norway--The REV Ocean, a research and expedition vessel (REV) and super yacht built by VARD shipyards in Tulcea, Romania, scheduled to be delivered in 2021, will be fitted out at other VARD shipyards in Norway and Germany; at 183 meters (600 ft) in length and at 17,440 gross tons, it sets the new world record for the Longest Motor Yacht, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.
