I had a grandmother named Gold but her name was the Arabic word for gold which is Dahab. My name is Dahabina which is derived from her name. She was many things among them included a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and now great-grandmother. Her dream was to meet me and that she has, in the dream world. She was a woman of justice and confidence who put her children and granddaughter first. She relied on Allah first and foremost and had an unwavering belief in Allah until she died. Her duaa in life were always answered by Allah. This is proof that it is important that every Muslim makes duaa. She had a golden spirit and everything she touched glittered like gold, that’s what I’ll say about her. It was clear that she feared no one but Allah. I’ve always been told by my father and aunt that I have my grandmother’s personality, Wallahi I’m honored
