Hey, please tell me about your April Fool's Day WIP. "Right?" Right about what, lol. I need to know. XD
ooo okay so this one is a little weird.
I always see the Reverse AU edits, which have Hank as an android. I always found it funny that Cyberlife would make an android look like a fifty something year old man.
So I started looking for an excuse to put android Hank with the characters from the main game, and came up with like. A devious Cyberlife plot where they were making a replica of Hank for whatever reason. So what originally started as me planning to write a silly one shot idea turned into something a bit eerier. What else is new.
OH and the reason I named it "Right" is because I realised how similar it was to my other fic "Wrong", so like. May as well lean into it
This is the only part that is coherent:
Gavin stilled, staring down the corridor, lit by the eerily flickering floor lights.
At the other end stood a familiar figure, one that took Gavin a few seconds to place.
"Hank? The fuck are you doing here?" Gavin said, lowering his gun.
The Lieutenant was dressed in dark jeans and a plain grey shirt.
"How did you get here so fast?"
Hank started to walk towards him, quickly.
Gavin frowned. "Hank?" He glanced over his shoulder, searching for a threat, but there was no one behind him. He looked back at Hank.
The lieutenant wasn't stopping, silently advancing on Gavin.
All of the detective's hackles were up, but he didn't know why. It was Hank, for fuck's sake, why would-?
Hank seized Gavin's jacket and lifted him off of his feet, throwing him into the wall so hard the air was forced out of lungs. Gavin frantically scrabbled at Hank's hands with his free arm, unsure what to do with his gun.
"Hank?" he wheezed.
In response, Hank punched him across the face, so hard Gavin saw stars. He would've hit the ground, but Hank was holding him upright with one hand still gripping his jacket.
Dazed, the detective blinked as Hank braced an arm against his neck, and easily wrenched the gun from his grip.
"Wh-?" he managed, but Hank's stare had him falling silent.
Hank seemed to smile slightly, in a way that just didn't look right on his face.
Gavin couldn't think. Why was Hank doing this?
Hank yanked him away from the wall, shoving Gavin a few steps ahead. Gavin stumbled, looking back at Hank. Hank raised Gavin's gun, pointing it at the detective. He used it to gesture down the corridor, with one quick flick.
Go.
Head throbbing, Gavin began to walk, Hank silently following him.

Again, feels somehow silly and too edgy at the same time 🫣
