#revenge!!!!!

"Lucas!" Even though the voice shot clear to through the rain, it still felt like cotton in his ears. But it still moved his gaze from the sky to the healer, now running toward him with a small conformation of his name on the wizard's lips. "What are you doing here? We were suppose to meet hours ago!" The frustration was clear in Lapen's voice, and eyes but everything seemed to come to Lucas so slowly.

"Sorry," he apologized with the same blank expression. All the muscles in his face felt like they had froze up, and they were too stuck to wear his mask like he was suppose. He couldn't even create the smallest smile. But he does remember that he was suppose to meet Lapen and he had thought that it would be perfect because he would have left the flowers with her before meeting up with Lapen but that was before he realized they bulldozed over it. 

The flowers....

With slow mechanical movement, he raised the bouquet up to Lapen, unwittingly shaking some water off of them to allow new water in. "Do you want them?" He asked in a soft voice. "I feel bad giving you flowers for someone else....but it's too late to give it to them now.....I- I didn't realize that they-that they were going to," his thoughts felt jumbled and muddled and he couldn't help but trip over his words again and again until he felt a warm hand reach up against his cheek. He quickly clung to it feverishly. 

"Lucas...." Lapen's voice was much softer this time, and it didn't take much to realize why. The rain was great for camouflaging the tears but it wasn't enough to hide the red along his eyelids that had long since crept into his eyes. 

He moved quickly, almost not realizing it was himself moving with such speed. Abandoning the flowers to the ground, his arms wrapped tightly around Lapen, and hid his own face in the crook of his neck.
