Everywhere I look (online and on the streets of Brooklyn), I see people donating their time, funds, physical and emotional strength to support those who have suffered loss because of Sandy and, wow, I sure love the incredibly generous spirit of Brooklynites. And that includes Brooklyn writers! There are many benefits coming up that will not only give you a night of amazing literary readings, but will also benefit those recovering and rebuilding post-Sandy.

There will also be a book table where 100% of sales will go to relief efforts. Poet/author Leigh Stein will be serving up drinks and advice at the bar from 6-9pm.
