seokjin is always glad for appointments scheduled on time.
with no student appointments or classes to fill up the last period on thursdays, seokjin is free to take hyojin off the hands of her (great-)grandmother ( he’s slightly afraid that those aged bones will drop his precious baby ), and spend time with her while they wait for mommy to finish teaching classes too. the remembrall in her hands ( so tiny! ) remains clear ( though it’s red half the time in his grasp ), and he watches with absolute adoration as she tries to catch it as he plays with it between paws. it must be frightening, he thought, to play with the big black panther lying down on the floor, but hyojin has always been his brave girl.
what he doesn’t appreciate are the quick knocks on his door that startles his daughter, and makes her run to the door -- who is it? she asks, so playful and innocent -- and he gets up a human, and opens the door a tad, only slightly peeved, and yet still mostly amused at the way hyojin tried to look from behind his legs to see who it is.
“yes -- oh. ms. choi. is this urgent?”
