Just adding my two cents here but technically the Antarctica is a desert (the largest one in the world too) so cold weather+desert is definitely not an impossible thing

Yah, Gobi desert gets cold af, too. Someplace like Mongolia is what I tend to associate with Anderfels.                  

I actually looked this up AND talked about it with someone who said the very logical thing that HEY umm Thedas is on the southern hemisphere?? and that actually makes... so much sense, because the more north you go, the hotter it gets (like Tevinter). so as it turns out Thedas weather isn’t illogical, I just wasn’t thinking :D

4. Favourite non-sexual activity -  I’m not sure if it entirely counts as an activity, but their favourite thing to do is to try and make each other laugh.  It’s a little competition between them, to see who can make who laugh hardest or at the most inappropriate time.  Ysabelle has a far more inappropriate sense of humour than Alistair, so if he is on his game, he really can make her laugh at the worst possible times!

8.  Nicknames - They don’t have any exciting names for each other, i’m afraid.  They call each other Ali and Izzy, although in later years they may pop king or queen on the front of that.
