This post is purely in the admiration of process of learning. We are sharing what we learn and understand regarding development of IoT with you as we proceed. In this learning process we are astounded by the amount of work that people are putting in and the amount of resources available. As we were looking for REST protocol, we came across the O'reilly book "RESTful Web API's" by Leonard Richardson and Mike Amundsen. The final chapter in the book got our attention "CoAP: REST for Embedded Systems". This protocol is very important from the perspective of understanding how data from an embedded device is to be put on and retrieved from the cloud.
