The White and Black Knight
"No matter what I’ve said to you, you’ve always said ‘Results gained though contemptible means are worthless’. It is a wonderful hypocrisy that you based your morals upon. Considering you used that who I emibody to advance yourself. But right now? am I real or am I a dream? that’s for you to try and discover." He said, remaining above Suzaku, the red glow of the sky behind him simply added to the image.
Emeraldneko 11:
At first Suzaku doesn’t say anything and simply stares at the familiar figure above him. Was he dreaming or was this really the same Zero he had fought before? Suzaku takes a moment to gather himself, reality or illusion Zero was someone he could not ignore.
“Why are you here?" Suzaku asks as he approaches him cautiously. He could feel a rush of adrenaline surge through his body, something he hadn’t felt in a while. Who was this Zero? He was almost certain that it couldn’t possibly be the same Zero he faced before yet, if he was an imposter he certainly was doing a good job.
saviourofarea11:
"I believe you should ask yourself that question. You see me here, in this real yet… imbalanced place. The twisted image of your homeland, confronting it’s saviour when you feel it should be you perhaps?" He said, dropping from his ledge to be equal level with him.
"One of the greatest knights in Britannia. Some do see what you are attempting to achieve, change from within. but most of your countrymen, even those who you sided with, see you as noting more than a power hungry traitor." His voice carried the inflections of Lelouch, yes, but the tone, the warble that followed was un-natural.
"What’s the truth? Do you still follow your morals, the means are as important as the results? or did that bullet that ended Euphie’s life also end yours? as the light slipped from her eyes did it go out from within you?" He was slowly walking forward as he talked, arms close so the cape was wrapped close around him. “What say you, White Knight of Britannia?"
