I canโt find a fic Iโve loved coming back to over the years. Iโm pretty sure itโs called Damaged Armor or something like that. Tony comes back from a mission all damaged and injured, and Pepper has had enough and canโt bear to look at him like that. However, after an argument, they get together for the first time. Glad to see this site is still running!!! It made my day. Does anybody know a fanfic where Tony is getting drunk in a bar because Pepper rejected him and she goes to talk with him and he's like "I'm Tony Stark, I don't have feelings, right?", then he tries to leave the bar and Pepper goes after him and kisses and he thinks it's because of pity ... Does it ring a bell to anyone?
Not sure what fic this might be. The only one I could think off the top of my head was Party's Over by King Pepperony which takes place during Iron Man 2. There's a scene in Chapter 2 or 3 where Tony thinks Pepper kisses him out of pity.
