Looks like the demand for the Tamagotchi Uni Passport and Tama Stickers are more in demand than you might have thought. The Tama Passport was actually given out as a preorder incentive for the Tamagotchi Uni in Japan, and Tama Stickers are part of several campaigns in Japan, and part of the World Tamagotchi Tour that is currently occurring all over the globe.
With that said, the resale value of both the passport and stickers has increased enough for those who are lucky enough to get their hands on them to start listing them. We’ve seen Tama Passport and Tama Stickers marked up to around ¥8,000! Imagine that. Another big factor adding to price is that these Tama Stickers have limited download codes which provide only 3 downloads, and there really is no way but the honor system to know if the code has been used at all.
Tama Stickers were given out at the 2023 Japan Expo in Paris as a part of the World Tamagotchi Tour, will Bandai be bringing them to San Diego Comic Con 2023 and New York Comic Con 2023? We shall see!
