Moving to England I noticed that the popularity of food festivals was pretty high. Events such as the chili and cheese festivals or barbeques are very popular and a good incentive for creating community. In these spaces, you get to share with other people and interact with a wide community and range of different people. Not only do events like these allow people to connect but they provide a space where everything revolves around eating, creating an environment of fun and socializing within eating.
