By eliminating financial and geographic barriers, it ensures equitable access to advanced academic materials, fostering innovation and inclusivity.

Managed by INFLIBNET, a unified digital portal under UGC simplifies access for students and researchers, allowing effortless exploration of impactful global publications. This initiative reflects the government’s strategic investment of ₹6,000 crore over three years, aiming to create a robust research-driven ecosystem aligned with the National Education Policy 2020.

The scheme addresses long-standing resource disparities, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, enabling students and researchers to engage with cutting-edge research. It positions India as a global research powerhouse by encouraging high-quality interdisciplinary contributions and knowledge-sharing.
