I saw this post about programming and how it's never intentionally done to create DID and I just wanna say that is an incredibly stupid take and it shows you haven't done your research. Just because programming isn't always going to result in DID, and just because some programmers don't program with the sole purpose of creating DID, does not mean that the intent is never there. Literally have you even LOOKED at programming before? Some of the different programs out there are purposefully done to "create" alters. This doesn't mean programming always causes DID. This doesn't mean there are no singlets who went through programming. This doesn't mean you can will a system into existence. This doesn't mean you can "build a headmate". And this doesn't mean systems just show up in your head without trauma. I am saying that SOMETIMES programmers intentionally attempt to create a system. I've spoken with my therapist on multiple occasions on how this is possible. It's so funny because the people I see talking about this are never survivors of ramcoa. It's never survivors that are questioning other survivors. It's always the people who are outside looking in.
