Rating as some kinda promo at an illegal rave for the newest edgy band in town’s next album release? 10/10 🤘🏻
Rating as things to see several hundred meters into a collapsed and abandoned mineshaft with missing casualties? 0/10, extra creepy 👌🏻
Someone sent an ask asking about more cave dive footage so here ya go ✨
Complete with backing helmet soundtrack, minus the Heliox assisted squeaky karaoke 🙂↔️ consider yourselves blessed.
This was post-rescue, going back down to fix lines and check we were definitely clear. It’s not just about pulling people out of trouble - walking away leaving a broken line means risking a repeat incident. Leaving someone’s gear behind might mean a call out to us by a well meaning fellow diver, or someone diving further thinking someone needs help and getting themselves into trouble. Or worse, the rescuee trying to go back for it…
So a little post-rescue once over is always in the cards if we can manage it 😌
Hello darkness my old friend.
