Even as an emulation, Traverse Town still felt real. Well, as real as a journal could describe it to be. The floor felt like he was truly walking on rubble, the feel of gravel scraping against the sole of his boots, although instead of a scraping sound effect, a soft buzz of the digital recreation stood in its place.
This was the closest he could ever get into visiting the actual Traverse Town for now, but Riku didnât mind. It was just as fine, if that smile of content on his face was any signal. Though he did wish it was more lively.
As he continued walking, he caught sight of someone whom he had a feeling wasn't supposed to be in this emulation. Hold on, no; this one was a User. There was no trace of data within them.
"⌠How did you get here?" Riku asked, his question straight to the point. He should've been notified of a User entering the area, unless Chip and Dale were the ones who personally allowed them entry? He wasn't quite sure.
