A variety of things, but in this case Iām suspecting it it is due to long term dehydration (over the importation process, flipping), and/or someone tried to medicate her (probably for parasites) when she was already dehydrated which made it worse.
I think weāll get some blood work done and see how far gone the kidneys are... Iāve mentioned to folks (maybe on tumblr too) that this snake drinks like a fish, always drinking. Hard to undo the damage done before she got here though, but weāll try.

I almost did get to playing music again, and then I got in an accident which set me back again. Maybe the future will bring something different. I havenāt sold any of my instruments, so Iām still trying to remain hopeful.
My first two snakes BOTH pooped on my during their first handling sessions. Jethro was just a little baby and I didn't know how to read snake body language, so I'm sitting on my bed and see his tail wriggling slowly back and forth, so I'm looking at his butt and realize moments too late what's about to happen. Thus was the mad dash between bed and cage, Jethro trailing poo across my bedroom. With my corn, I thought it was so cute that he wanted to be in my shirt. Poop IN shirt, not so much.

ponchoās first poop on me was when I had just gotten her too and I didnāt know the body language so I saw her wiggling her butt and I was likeĀ āwell thatās strangeā and then OUT IT COMES
