Did some repots today! My baby philodendron birkin that I popped from its mom January 2024 has grown to be quite the little plant! My Hoya Australis Lisa deserved a bigger pot as well. And although I didn't fully repot the Brasil, I did redo the trellis for it and pulled one vine down to hang.

Happy Repot Day!

I've had a growing number of plants needing to be repotted so I tackled a few of them today. My Prince of Orange I've been putting off until this new leaf unfurls but I've also been wanting to take a closer look at its roots. They looked decent and just needed a little more room.

The Patriot Hoya actually is my son River's. I think I shared the story already of how I showed him the signs of a good plant when choosing one and he chose this out of 3. I was super surprised to see how thick the root system was! It was a pick from Walmart for 7 bucks. I hadn't noticed any signs of new growth since we had brought it home, but it's good to know it is in good visible shape top and bottom!

Nothing much special to note about the purple passion plants or the Dracaena Tornado plant. I split the PPPs into just two pots. The one on its own had more of an established root system than the other two. It looked fuller and I plan on testing some ideas out on her as well.

I'm officially a Thai Constellation momma! I've been wanting one for so long and I was lucky enough to find a HEALTHY one at Walmart of all places (as indoor plants become more popular the rare ones become less rare as to sell more).
