Well well well would you look at that, I've gotten my first scam dm!! I've made it on Tumblr guys the bots and hackers want to get me!!

Okay, I don’t usually make posts like this, but oh my god this is so hilariously bad and shameless that I just had to make an awareness post on it.
So I got a mention from this account claiming to be the Tumblr Support Team and as you can see, they’re asking for age verification through payment information confirmation.
Now obviously I didn’t fall for this. Like, they don’t even have the right handle (unless this is a staff member that I don’t know about), but I just wanted to make sure y’all knew about this.
There's a scam going around on social media, where a person is pretending to report your account and saying, your account is permanently banned.
A follower messaged me about this and their account is compromised.
Please do not fall for it. There's a reason why I never got an email from Tumblr. Only from this person who I've never met.
Again, please do not fall for it.
It started on steam, then over the years, it went fo different social media. I had the exact same thing on discord.
I also love how their using ai in the second photo. Also, that text is so bad 🤣

Obviously if you have [tumblr] premium then your credit card info is already available to them. And [tumblr] will never ask you for money like this which is how I knew it was a scam anyway. I have reported this account as spam, and I hope everyone else will do the same.
