#repliroid inosuke

Lap-pillow and ear...erhm... repairing? Because these babies DESERVE something soft and sweet considering what happens in this AU.

I went back and drew part of the confrontation with Daki! (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ (so, the battle that comes before both the one with Gyutaro AND the one with Douma). I charged in without having a clear idea of how Daki looks like, only that she looks hyper mechanical, unlike Ino, Gyu and Douma who have a lot of/some human characteristic. Her hair was an impulse addition -it's like thick, sturdy ropes she can move at will. All in all, her hair seems to shift her whole look from a geisha/oiran to a sort of mechanical Medusa, which I like (LOTS) but might not keep. Like in the manga/anime, she's obsessed with beauty, but for this version of her, true beauty means looking like a machine as much as possible. In this AU, she finds Ino (who is, technically, older than her) *extremely* beautiful (again, like the anime, but amped up to 11) not because of his face, but because he has a lot of exposed mechanical parts himself, like his arms and to an extent his legs as well. But then she discovers---something I'd like to draw, but it's an extremely complicated scene, very spoilery and not... exactly... pretty to see, I guess. ├┬┴┬┴| •́ ﹏ •̀) Anyway, DAKI AS A SHIPPER HAD TO BE DRAWN. Jealous Zenitsu and Blushing!Mess!! Inosuke were also a delight to draw XD Speaking of Zenitsu, I've redesigned his attire, because the bubble sleeves from the Resistance uniform HAD TO GO. Even though this arc deals with Daki and Gyu, this is basically the Infinity Castle arc of my AU, where everything comes to a head. This is basically Zenitsu's BAMF!arc, and the confession I posted on Valentine's Day happens just about here, either right before or right after Ino deals with Daki.

TOTALLY forgot it was Valentine's Day, so I didn't have a chance to draw anything. Luckily, I remembered this quick sketch of the first time Repliroid! Inosuke and his handler! Zenitsu kiss... this happens during the last arc, when Inosuke is about to fight Daki/Gyutaro/Douma, and Zenitsu desperately confesses to him ♥

"Monitsu" only wants to keep that precious smile safe forever, but he's terrified. What if they don't make it in time, and Inosuke dies? What if they do make him a complete mechanical body, but once he's turned into a droid Inosuke loses himself and becomes someone completely different?!?!?!?! What if he can't feel things with his skin? What if he can't feel things with his heart and soul? What if he won't like Monitsu anymore, or smile at him ever again? So, Monitsu swears that once he grows up he'll find a way to build Inosuke a body that's so advanced, so incredibly human, that Inosuke will manage to remain the same, and still love Monitsu as he does now, so innocently and deeply.

I'm outta control. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's just a rushed messy thing, but there were some elements I loved, so here it :3

MORE Repliroid Inosuke because I'm obsessed. AND. Don't have time to do more than some random BIC sketches right now. I've recreated the scene from the Red District Arc where Gyutaro stabs Inosuke. Onto other news, I've got the whole story now!!!! It's a tragedy. But it ends well! But it's a tragedy first and foremost.

I have no idea how or why it happened, but it happened. Quick and messy Repliroid Inosuke because I couldn't get the bug out of my head.
