What would happen if somebody returned to the theater after leaving? Like someone had their heart broken (I think that's the term) but after it got fixed later on it got broken again and they had to return to refix it? Would they remember the last time they were there or would it be like a brand new experience for them? And how would the people in the theater (balan, lance, the tims ect) react to this?
I've spoken about this before but I can't for the life of me remember the post, but I think this isn't an unusual occurrence! It's hard to imagine everyone will have just one point of conflict in their lives, everyone is so different and to knock it all out in one go I think just isn't always possible. So, some people will indeed return to the theatre here and there!
To combat this however, I think they forget each time they come through the doors. Unfortunately, having people remember is just too much of a risk, so Balan and Lance make sure that for every time they visit, it's like it's the first time. They've been at it for so long, I think the cast are used to it by now, and so it doesn't really affect Balan, Lance or the other's as much. It's just business and they have jobs to do after all.
But, I think Balan especially is always ecstatic to see how far return visitors have come, how much they've grown and how their lives have been since their first encounter! I'm sure the idea of being forgotten constantly can take its role on Balan, especially when he has to uphold the mask of positivity and such. But it's always, always worth it in the end when he gets to help someone fix their hearts and realign their lives in the right direction.
I feel like Lance might be a bit critical of a repeat visitor? They would inspect them thoroughly and try to understand what went wrong, and if it's at all in connection with how they lost themselves the first time. They would be the one to really pull Balan in and come up with a proper game plan to fix the heart this time around
