4. What is your zodiac sign?

Either Cancer or Leo, depending on if you care about NASA shifting the dates a few years ago! Given that I alternate between the two based on which answer I like better on Zodiac memes, I think it’s probably fair to say I don’t put a ton of stock into it.

14. Are you psychic in any way?

I wish! I don’t really buy into supernatural stuff, but Betsy-from-10-years-ago would be psyched as heck if I had anything even remotely resembling a superpower.

17. Who would be your ideal partner?

Hmm. An introvert? Hopefully a dog person? (Maybe not too in love with cats, since I’m super allergic?) I've been single for 25 and a half years, and at some point it’s become less about looking for an “ideal partner” and more just “someone who’s alive and at least a little bit interested in me, so I can practice this whole ‘dating’ thing even if it doesn’t last.” It would be pretty neat if were were into similar things, though? Staying up stupidly late to play video games with a someday-girlfriend would be pretty incredible.

28. What type of music do you like?

Broadway, mostly! I tend to get really, really into certain artists for long stretches of time (Jason Mraz, Lady Gaga, Florence and the Machine), but I’m not into any particular genres over others.

(...Actually, that’s not true. I have an embarrassing soft spot for cheesy video game butt rock. I’ll listen to the Sonic Adventure 2 or Revengeance soundtrack for days.)

56. Most used word?

Probably “oh.” I start way too many sentences with “Oh, man/geez/wow/shit/a zillion other things,” to the point where I’m starting to annoy myself! Been trying to cut back on that, at least a little bit.

59. Do you suck or bite lollipops?

I always want to finish lollipops without biting them. I’ve managed to pull that off...probably about three times, ever? My heart’s in it. My attention span really, REALLY isn’t.

79. Who was your first real crush?

i have a thing about being in cars when i’m not the one driving so i use it as a distraction mostly. it’s neat to know that other people do it too :)

Jennifer-

My ex’s little sister was named Jennifer and she was pretty cool. For a bit she was kinda like the little sister I never had, which was neat.

Teresa-

My old manager at the cafe I worked at through college. She was really great and she was friends with my dad from wayyy back when so she knew me since I was born. She was kinda a hardass manager and people didn’t really like her but she gave great hugs and she was tiny and intimidating and that cafe was fucking spotless when she was there.

Carol-

My friends’ mom’s name is Carol! I’m friends with their entire family and they’re all just really great people. She was also my Girl Scout leader when I was in high school and she was fucking TERRIFYING but she’s actually really nice and I love her :D

Pam-

I’m not sure I know any Pams actually, at least not any I can think of... haha I feel like Pam is a common name in that generation that I’m not in-touch with, like too old to be my friend but not old enough to by my friend’s parent, y’know? One of my friends probably has a mom named Pam, I just can’t think of any...

Josh-

Uhhh I’ve known a lot of Joshs, like there were a few that I went to school with... One of them had a younger brother who did theatre, so I was more friends with him than with Josh, which was kinda weird... Tho when I was in first grade, I went to a boy’s birthday party at a Red’s game and Josh also went ‘cause the boy was our mutual friend.

Liz-

A girl that was sorta in my friend group in high school was named Liz. We were okay friends for a bit, like I went to her birthday party and stuff. She was really smart AND a cheerleader AND her family bred Corgis. In high school she ended up dating the guy I had a huge crush on lmao

Michael-

My dad’s name! :D He mostly goes by Mike, though. I also have an uncle named Michael (and another one that also goes by Mike), and he was always my favorite uncle growing up ‘cause he was really goofy. He gave me a stuffed dodo for my fourth birthday named Bocos (I don’t actually know how to spell that now that I’m writing it out???) that I still have. He also always called me Air-win which I loved lmao
