So I doodled a thing about Chapter 10 of Daze of Ailey 8D...I'm sorry that I cannot bring myself to feel bad for this! I can't only draw the happy things!
Netflix
Was Netflix able to surge in stock price and come back this last fiscal quarter because the many people who had once unsubscribed realized they could not live without it?
Yesterday
I still have my innocence.
This is what I told myself every time the infamous feeling of regret came to visit. Innocence was the only thing that kept me sane during a time in which insanity was not farfetched. And so it seems as if Innocence can only be the most heartfelt topic to describe. Throughout my life, the fifferences between having remorse and simply learning a lesson from my mistakes have been in a constant battle of definition. Both the ideas, although seemingly similar in most aspects, have two entirely different meanings to which I am no longer accustomed. My past illustrates both concepts in vivid color. Every shade of blue can be effortlessly transcribed. Hues of red, the color of an infuriated heart, are seen adjacent to gray: the color of regret. In powerful ways this painting can still be observed in my memory; almost as though those times were only yesterday. Or perhaps, they were just yesterday.
There is no refuge from memory and remorse in this world. The spirits of our foolish deeds haunt us, with or without repentance.
Gilbert Parker
