#abroadwithacamera I stopped by the #vancouverchristmastree to try and capture it's beauty a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering why some of the lights didn't appear to be working but took some pictures anyway. The more I thought about it, the more appropriate it was that it was partially lit. Over the years, the losses of loved ones has grown and this year in particular has been tough. This tree reminds me that loss is interwoven into the very fabric of life and love. At moments I see the unlit portions first when my heart is heavy with grief. @ceazarkctattoo 😇, I know you must have already seen it and I can already imagine your smile at your son's sweet gesture. 😍 Mama would always say, "Daw si Tating gid" then we'd all either laugh or smile when he's being silly like you. We could really attest how he's becoming more like you everyday, looks, quirks and all other things except that he's not a big fan of spaghetti. 😂 Remember you both had this with Mama when he was . His current favorite movie is Coco and had been repeatedly singing Recuérdame, had literally been infinitely playing.
