Where the hell is Zenith?!

I can’t be the only person who saw Scourge come back romance-able and went “Oh god, please do that for Zenith!”

Its not like Troy Baker has a problem voicing bi guys, he did Theron so goddammit gimme bi Zenith!

I still remember watching a let’s play like 7+ years ago and seeing Zenith for the first time and going “whelp that’s my mans” only to be heartbroken when I found out he wasn’t available.

And yeah, I kinda headcanon him as being some kinda grey ace, maybe demi, but that would only make his return better!

Cause he’s a striped yellow ball of extreme paranoia, overly honed murder reflex, and ruthlessness. But the Consular was probably the only person he’s truly trusted in years, and he enjoyed their company enough to continue flying with them even while working as opposition leader.

And I gotta say, I love the “I didn’t know how much they meant to me until they were dead gone” trope. 

With the war with Zakuul, he likely went back to operating in a similar capacity as his days as a resistance leader, there’s no way he’d take this new occupation laying down.

But he’d have plenty of time to be reminded of how much better it was with the Consular. He’d get annoyed as he remembers their suggestions of mercy when he’s trying to serve out his own justice. And he realizes with growing exhaustion, that he’d gotten used to feeling safe enough to really sleep when he was still with them.

That he has just a harsh, logical personality means the confession scene would be that much more adorable, as he realizes that at some point that trust dragged him kicking and screaming from platonic to romantic. And him struggling to express, in his own way, just how much they mean to him and how much he missed them.

My mom accidentally boiled some eggs to the point where they exploded and now the entire house smells like satan’s sulfur-y asshole. Then they left. Now it’s just me and the pets.

I’m going to hurl, then I’m going to die.

Oh my god, are you serious!? I just checked on it and the damn double XP event has been delayed a week!

Apparently the event and 6.1.1 is now due to drop April 21st. Fuck, goddamn it. They could have told us a little earlier than the 11th, then I wouldn’t have gotten so excited!

I mean I don’t want to be angry with the devs, they’re all working from home now and there was bound to be some issues getting that all set up correctly. But uuuuuUUUUUGH! It’s still a huge disappointment. I was really looking forward to this today.

I’ve been in this limbo of ‘I wanna play, but I wanna wait until the event so I can get the most bang for my buck time-wise’. It made me feel super torn like playing now was a waste of time cause the event would somehow invalidate all the work I put in to leveling a character cause it would suddenly be super easy.

It’s silly, but it’s made me feel icky ever since I found out about the incoming event.

I’m too impatient to wait another week, so I’ll just have to start the characters I’ve been saving and try to ignore the icky feeling.

It’s not like the event is taking anything from me, I just need to be happy it’s coming at all.

Me: Enters Valentine to sell a fuck ton of skins and meat to the butcher.

A couple assholes: Kill me 3 consecutive times without me firing a single shot at them.

Me: Logs off.

Literally every single interaction I’ve had in Free Roam with other players is them trying to kill me. Guys, GUYS, I’m just a sad, posse-less player turned obsessive hunter/ explorer, I’m just trying to make enough money to buy some clothes that don’t look like ass and better hunting weapons.

Its always funny playing as a dwarf or qunari in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Most of the time it’s normal, no different than a human or elf, but then there are moments like these, where the camera forgets to adjust to your height.

Uh, Cullen? I’m down here, man.

The qunari addition is having your head out of the frame and everyone is calmly addressing your chest.

But the funnier ones are the more common instances where the camera is right, but nothing else is taking your height into account. 

My poor Cadash has to dance  with his nose practically buried in her chest, and I’m pretty sure her hand is floating several inches above his shoulder. 

The most obvious (and most annoying) are the kissing scenes. Half of the time Cadash is suddenly his partner’s height for a few seconds, then immediately back to normal, like there’s this magical box that poofs under his feet to boost him up so he’s eye level, then disappears a moment later. The other half of the time, he’s kissing his partner’s sternum and they’re making out with the air a foot above him.

There’s nothing wrong with the game of course, this is just laziness. For the romance scene issues, I wish they would have done what they did in Origins. When you play as a Brosca/Aeducan, your chosen love interest has a few extra frames showing them kneeling before they kiss you. Why couldn’t we have had that?!

I know dwarf is the least popular race for the Inquisitor, and qunari probably isn’t far behind, but that doesn’t mean they should receive less attention when the devs are finishing the game!

(Although to be fair, I blame EA for any lack of polish on DA:I. They seem to figure its better to shove a game out before it’s been fully finished, than give Bioware the time they needed to fix stuff like this and push the release date back.)
