But the best thing is that on reading this, while still having no idea how the fuck this could have happened, I immediately went “ah yes, accidentally outing yourself bc of something you read, that is definitely a thing”. And it just hits this weird place where no specifics are needed bc the scenario/feeling is such a queer thing, and Jess is honestly the most authentically queer protagonist I have ever read, and this book is so so fucking good.
