With this cool latte, you can enjoy the delicious flavors of vanilla and chai. Great for a sunny day or when you need a pick-me-up.
Ingredients: 2 chai tea bags. 1 cup boiling water. 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup. 1 cup milk. Ice cubes. Whipped cream optional. Ground cinnamon optional.
Instructions: Allow the chai tea bags to steep in 1 cup of boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes. This will make a strong chai concentrate. Take out the tea bags and let the concentrate cool down until it's no longer hot. Mix the chai concentrate well after adding 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup. Put ice cubes in a glass. Fill up half of the glass with ice cubes and then pour in the vanilla chai concentrate. Warm up 1 cup of milk in a different pot until it's hot but not boiling. You can froth the hot milk with a frother or by whisking it very hard. Add the frothed milk to the glass of chai concentrate and pour it on top. Mix the chai concentrate and milk together slowly by stirring. If you want, you can add whipped cream and ground cinnamon on top. Use a straw to drink your Vanilla Iced Chai Latte.
