On the bottom left sketch it was going to be Reeve being flustered because Vanessa filled his face to the brim with smooches and you could tell cause there would be lipstick all over Reeve's face but I never made it past that so enjoy bald Reeve!

I've been calling this au the Reenessa au for a while now, but I feel like it's not very specific cause when I refer to it as the Reenessa au it can apply to other reenessa AUs I have in mind.

So I wanted to ask you guys if you have any name ideas for my MAIN Reenessa au

And have some silly Reenessa doodles I made on my iPad cause I was bored and had an overwhelming urge to draw my sillies because I love them very much :3

I know people here in the fandom made a decent amount of ships and pairs and rarepairs but, has anyone considered shipping Reeve and Vanessa? :3c

This ship has been stuck in my brain for 6 MONTHS NOW, and it's about time I finally made some fanart of them after being brainrotted with these two idiots these past few months. Reenessa is a ship that holds a very special place in my heart (along with reedam but I think Reeve and Vanessa will take that throne at this point) and I have to be completely honest with you when I say this...

I didn't like this ship back then in like 2023 :D

SHOCKER I know but let me explain, back in 2023 in the summer my go to was reedam since 2022 when I watched the hollow for real that year and ever since I saw Adam and Reeve's dynamic I instantly saw the potential in their ship and pretty much shipped him with no one else, besides reekai cause I started to like that ship around the time too (thanks Cursi xd).

And when I saw content about Reeve/Vanessa I was like "EEWWW NO!! Reeve belongs with ADAM ADNAKFNANKLNBNBLEKN", I didn't like the ship when I saw it at first and as time went on I got to December of 2023 near the end and I thought, "This ship isn't so bad :>"

Then came 2024 and I forgot the ship for a while until the near start of May of 2024, that's when around that time I decided to look for fanart of the ship on google and I was met with LITTLE to no results, and at that time I saw like 2 fanarts on google and 1 fic from Wattpad besides the first ever Reenessa fic that's in Ao3 someone wrote back in 2018.

After doing all that research I came to the conclusion that at the time I researched there were 2 fics (now 3) 2 small fanarts, and one edit on youtube. Ever since then I started to kind of ship them out of pity because I genuinely felt bad that this ship has barely any content and I made these two doodles that I posted in my season 2 4th anniversary post last year

As time went on I kept having Reenessa at the back of my mind sometimes thinking about it but not fully in depth, and then my breakup with someone happened at the end of August, and things were not all that great from there.

Skipping forward to January this year I was talking to my friend on twitter who goes by bargainer (who also has an account here in case you didn't know @epiccm14 heheheh) and one day I just told him

"Dude, I think I'm starting to become a bit of a reenessa shipper.."

And things only escalated from there, every time I saw something cute or funny that could be related to a couple I thought of them, every time I kept looking at the results from searching Reeve x Vanessa on Google made me think more of them, I thought of writing a confession fic (which is in the works and idk when I'll finish it but I made some progress), I have lots of fanart ideas, I like to imagine them dancing to my favorite songs, AND EVERY TIME I saw Reeve and Vanessa together I would go NUTS. And all this lead to where we are now with me FINALLY doing reenessa fanart after 6 months of shipping them.

And the date where this all started was January 17th, 2025. And you BET I'm gonna do a one year anniversary of shipping these two, and expect to see more art of reenessa cause I can confidently say that I am the CEO of reenessa and you will HAVE to take that title from my cold dead hands cause NO ONE is taking this title away from me!!!

And I hope you like them, cause YOU WILL SHIP THEM, you will also join me in the reenessa rabbit hole and we'll go insane about Reeve and Vanessa TOGETHER FOREVER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /j
