#code lyoko au

So in this au, a few things would be clearly different off the bat -

Code Lyoko is set in France, so that's where Yakko lives here. And at a baording school, which from what I gather is a much more common thing in European countries than in the US.

Yakko and his siblings are also adopted here, by my man Lon (who's also a toon here, and this happens to fit into my hc his parents originally came from France) Except obviously here his parents never left. Wakko and Dot are significantly younger than him here, and not even close to being in school with him.

Which is important in terms of keeping the main secret of the show, aka the supercomputer and Xana. And I like to think Yakko's an expert liar.

Anyway, Yakko basically takes up Odd's role here, while Max Goof takes up Ulrich's. Keeping Jeremie and Aelita the same, though.

Like Ulrich, Max ends up saving Jeremie from a attempt by Xana to kill him and finds out about the supercomputer. And ofc the scanners.

Similar to CL canon, Yakko sneaks his pet into the dorm, except in this case its a kitten he names Plato (because he's a giant nerd XD) Plato kind of destroys Max's pillow, to his annoyance.

Max has a rougher background than in canon here, although idk what that would be exactly. Idk if I'll ever develop this thing further than some art. If I ever do I'll decide then.

But as such, he's more willing to snatch Plato for a test subject. Yakko and the school snobby girl, as in the actual prequel ep, follow him back to the factory, and Yakko accidentally ends up scanned onto Lyoko instead of Plato.

He gets upgraded claws out of it, and I already give him pretty formidable claws as it is lol.

And thus the events of the prequel eps go on, except with a altered cast. And that's how Yakko gets involved :D

"What does it say?" - Odd asked lying in his bed with Kiwi - "Is it from Ishiyama?"

Ulrich remained quiet now putting the piece of paper on his pocket

"You'll end up getting in trouble if Einstein finds out you're trying to romance the enemy, Stern" Odd teased

"Just don't tell him.. I won't take long. If he asks for me tell him I went for a walk" Ulrich began walking towards the door

"I got you, my lips are sealed." Odd smirked

Ulrich walked at a fast pace, trying to get to the gym as soon as he could he also tried to make sure he wasn't being followed by anyone specially Sissi, once he got there and spotted Yumi he tried to fix his hair slightly before he began walking towards her

"So... what do you want?" - Ulrich put his hands on his pockets

She grabbed him by his arm and dragged him inside the gym and closed the door checking around for anyone that could hear them before talking

"I just want to understand why won't you guys let us do our job!" - Yumi said through her teeth

"You mean harm us in anyway possible just so X.A.N.A can do whatever it pleases?" - Ulrich questioned

"I.. No! You don't get it.. We're doing this for the greater good! Franz Hopper's plans were evil and that's why he was arrested don't you get it? We could really use some help.." - Yumi explained

" Are you dense?! You sound like you were brainwashed! Can't you see X.A.N.A only wants to harm all of us- Look I don't know what X.A.N.A may have promised you but you've been lied to. Yumi you're a good fighter and I'm sure you're better than that. Why not use your skills for good?" - Ulrich asked, he sounded really genuine

Yumi looked at him for a bit, she didn't know what to say

" think about it..." - He took a step closer to her subconsciously but when they noticed how close he had gotten they started blushing

" I don't... I don't think I can do that." - Yumi finally managed to get some words out

"I've seen you fight, how come in Lyoko all you do is chase after Aelita? William isn't even skilled all he does is swing his sword hoping to hit something!" - Ulrich exclaimed causing Yumi to chuckle, he had made her laugh and was now blushing, he wished he got to see that side of her more often

His ringtone interrupted the moment, he pulled out his phone, he had a few messages that read "there's a tower activated get to the fabric ASAP"
