Saskia frowned a little as Gavin handed over the bouquet of flowers, granted they were beautiful and would certainly brighten her kitchen table but she wasn't even sure exactly why she was given them. There had to be a catch, there always was.

"Who died? There's gotta be a catch why you're giving me flowers so who died? Or what do I have to do for you?" She asked.

midnight blue eyes shift over to the other, clearing his throat as he moves to wipe at his nose. yeah, he's managed to smear blood across his cheek but he doesn't really care. one could say he deserved the punch to the nose from the jock because he had gone in for the kill verbally, but other's would argue that the jock had started it. mapplethorpe? well, he knows he wasn't at fault! if anything, he couldn't help but feel like he won because he got under there skin so badly.

Blinking a few times, Saskia wasn't sure how exactly she should react. She knew Gavin wasn't exactly the affectionate kind, at least not often. So to see him like that was somewhat of a surprise. "Yeah, I can stay. I don't have work tomorrow so I can stay as long as you need me to."

Saskia rolled her eyes, but cracked a smile. "At least you have a better reason, I don't talk to my family because I think they're assholes."

Saskia wasn't sure how to respond to Gavin's statement, deep down knowing she needed to attend therapy to deal with both her addictions and the thoughts and feelings she had about her parents. But she didn't want to change the person she worked so hard to create.

"Why leave it all behind when you can drink yourself stupid and hate your own existence?" she finally spoke up.

Saskia really wasn't in a place to be talking to anyone; her makeup was off, she was in an oversized hoodie and some plain underwear while she was on her couch as MTV was on. She wasn't even really paying attention as she beat herself up over that stupid date; although he was the one who called her a whore and walked out.

Hearing the knock at the door, she sighed as she reluctantly got up to answer it. Blinking a few times before rubbing her eyes, she couldn't believe Gavin was there in front of her. "You didn't have to do this, I was just going to get wasted and watch TV."

Saskia was busy doing the washing up, humming something under her breath as she worked, trying her best not to drop any of the plates but the damn rubber gloves were annoying her.

Before she got too annoyed, she felt Gavin's arms around her waist and instantly felt herself relax. Smiling softly, she tilted her head slightly to be able to kiss his cheek.
