i kind of crack shipped it at first. i liked the dynamic - of this very lord of the flies esque desperate power imbalance and transactional cruelty and kindness - and i actually really enjoyed richard and bob’s performances back in s1, but i never really expected endgame - much less much of any kind of canonical development of their relationship in any capacity. i do have have a soft spot for it, still, though. in a better show, it could’ve been a better dynamic.
