I am a disabled human. Even my best days, are clouded with challenges, pain, symptoms, but I’ve learned to adapt and evolve; some days are easier than others. I’ve been on Humira for three months, but looks like I’ll need to switch to another drug. That means more red tape, climbing thru hoops to get financial assistance for medications that literally save my life. Each day a disabled person is challenged by the worsening healthcare systems, escalating big pharma costs, and struggling to stay solvent within a society that sees us as expendable. Own your truth, stand up for your tights, health care is a human right.
