Reddish's Muffet & Pet
“Reddish is my own adaptation of Fellswap, which, although it started focusing on the skeleton brothers and their pets (reddish owners), ended up developing into a complete universe with adaptations to the world (surface & underground) and its characters.”

Muffet, Head Chef of Snowdin's Community Dining Room
She is an excellent chef who, like everyone in the beginning, did not hesitate to serve the crown and the cause of the queen; Both she and her family wanted to help their loved ones and be a help to the community.
Her skills were considered appropriate to be in charge of the Community Dinning Room of the distant town of Snowdin, regardless of the problem that the cold of the place would generate for her people. Orders are orders and like everyone else, still believing that the Queen made the best decisions, she kept silent and began her work.
The resources at her disposal were always scarce and strictly controlled, leaving her with no choice but to constantly cook bland meals, with just enough rations for every residents in town, specially the guard.
Time passed and the original paranoia, as the good will of the cause, ended up dying. What at some point she believed would be a help to the community, she slowly understood was nothing more than another way to control people.
The crown provides, but it also restricts. The Community Dining Room was nothing more than an excuse to monitor the monsters, with each resident having to report at least once a week to receive their rations under the watchful eye of the royal guard.
For her, the building is her home and her jail. It's one of the few places that has the necessary conditions to keep her protected from the low temperatures of Snowdin, which limits her mobility and, as it's large enough to accommodate the entire community, it's also used as a warehouse for resources send from the Capital.
In other words, Muffet is limited to cooking and interacting only when serving rations to the other citizens and helping delivering boxes of stuff to the Dog Family, usually under the strict surveillance of the royal guard.
She is one of many monsters who fervently believes that the Queen has gone completely insane and that they cannot live under her rule forever.
For this and her position in the town, she is the one who is in charge of the growing resistance that arose against the crown in this area of the kingdom. Being the very image of calm and composure, no one suspects her involvement, which she has used to slowly provide locals with forbidden resources. In addition to collecting information about the royal guard, especially considering the proximity of the captain.
Her contacts with rebels outside the town have helped them accumulate the necessary power for a possible future rebellion.
In Snowdin, the Dog Family is her main ally, while her own family, made excellent spies due to their size. The cold makes it a dangerous job, but the conviction of overthrowing the Queen and finally opting for a better life is worth it.
No one is particularly sure where it came from, but Muffet calls it her "pet" and its job is to guard the supply storeroom.
Likewise, no one has actually seen it, only its eyes and paws, since it uses a box as camouflage.

Muffet & Papyrus Relationship: Illegal transactions
Like everyone else in town, Muffet considers Papyrus a waste of space. Even with her own dislike for the royal guard, she can't help but wonder why the captain puts up with him, but even so, she can't deny his usefulness to the cause.
Papyrus lives without much purpose and accepts any job that provides him with his vice, so Muffet did not hesitate to use it to their advantage, especially with the most risky jobs.
The skeleton's loyalty to the queen is non-existent, so he never cared about exposing himself to danger, on the other hand, his concern for his brother still exists, so keeping close to the resistance is a good way to protect him from them.
The deals are simple: Mutt gets the job done and receives his cigars as payment. If caught, he has the immunity of being the brother of the captain of the guard, and while that does not ensure his safety, the resistance will not regret his loss.
Anyway, the skeleton doesn't really seem to care what happens to him and deep down, he enjoys helping ruin the queen's plans.
🔺If Muffet's indifference changes with the arrival of certain small creatures into Papyrus's life and his attitude towards them, she never said it out loud, but Shaky had more alert eyes watching over their safety than they ever knew about while in Snowdin.
