The train had come to heavy halt in station by now, and the hiss of steam had finally risen from the train’s engines. A ruckus of other passengers getting off the train came pouring out of her cabins now. Some with crates and bags in each hand, others just hopping off to stretch their own legs.Women all gussied up in traveling gowns and men in bright two-pieces walked across the hot station. Elliott and Sunshine remained close to one another, as both were not rightly fond of such crowds. They would board the train shortly when the remaining passengers began to dissipate throughout the station. “Elliott, everyone that came out looked beautiful. I’ve never seen such pretty gowns and coats.”… “Come on, Sunshine”, Elliot had released them and stepped up into a train car, bending down a little to hold his outstretched hand to his lover. With a jump and a pull, Elliott guided them into the train car to see a golden car with red and green velvet cushions. The walls shining of polished maple and gold and sparkling sconces hung all the way down the car. The floor in a bright auburn lacquer and all of it gave Sunshine so much pause. “Elliott, what is this?” they asked in awe.
