But- as usual- due to the latest Blake plot we got, I neeeeedd to get my thoughts out in text or else I’ll die.

OHMYFUCKINGGAWDDIDYOUSEEHOLYFUCKOWMYHEARTAHHHHHH!!!! Bestie!!!! You sweet autumn turnip, thank you- you might be stuck right now, but I have every confidence in you buddy keep it up, you’ll get out eventually don’t worry!

Ohhh ouchie my chest writhed at the thought of Bestie figuring out that they were in a dream and trying to wake themselves up by splashing water in their face. (That’s just how I interpreted it though)

Now I think some might be wondering how the hell Brachium got there, and he mentions it a little, but I have a few lil theories so hear me out- I think it makes sense, because 1) the last dream Blake crafted was literally for Brachium so there are some magical threads that still linger as a signal for brachium to use and 2) … Brachium is kind of amazing at interdimensional messaging! While Sunshine was technically a “charge” he had special connection with, I still think that it’s no small feat that he was able to reach out to them in dreams and the waking world while still down in Death (the place). Now that he’s not stuck in death anymore, connecting to Bestie’s dream was probably much easier. Brachium-my lord and savior- is amazing and you cannot tell me otherwise XD.

Which- speaking of dreams, this kinda goes into a topic I’ve been really strumming my noodle about lately. Now, let me be clear -don’t get it , I love Elliot. He’s pretty amazing at what he does and the fact that he was the youngest to graduate Dreamwalker academy and get all of his credentials to be the strongest Dream bb in the department he works in for making inception a reality for the very powerful ppl of the empowered world. But - I should apologize to all the other dreamwalkers out there… but for a while I definitely believed that a dreamwalkers’ main abilities were probably the weakest and most limited out of the entire magical catalogue. - I know I know, I’m sorry - HEY DONT THROW THAT! Put that down!!

Now I’m aware, that a dreamwalker can probably make their enemies have sleepless nights and loved ones pleasant dreams, but I think the ability to put people asleep is not strictly a Dreamwalker ability, and unless an opponent is asleep, a dream walker‘s powers are kind of useless if everyone’s staying awake. (Yes I am thinking this as if everyone fights like Pokémon, leave me alone.)

At least… that’s what I thought. Until I really started thinking about it…

Blake has sort of put all of those thoughts and thrown them out the fucking window with how OP he actually is. And I mean, Blakes scary now, but he was a threat before Doug Dimmedome showed up.

I hear you, you’re like, “But Spooder, Blake is a Seer, he’s not actually a dreamwalker, please stop making these”- no- you don’t understand, that’s *EXACTLY* my point. Y’see, if the stars align just right, gaining proficiency in dream magic becomes the most powerful thing known to man*. I think Dream walkers need an active imagination and total control of those imaginations to utilize their powers fully. They can build WHOLE WORLDS and control every aspect about it, we’ve seen this with Elliot making Star Trek & Pokemon themed dreams. So as they start to explore what they can and can’t create in a dream, that sets them up to familiarize and envision real life processes. Now if you’re like Blake, and enjoyed Dream Magic so much while also being a Seer, the possibilities become absolutely limitless!

NOT A THING IN A DREAM, But a real redacted portal to send people to!!! It’s been grappling my brain how the fuck he made a goddamn dimension BIG ENOUGH TO RESEMBLE A KINDA LACKLUSTER VERSION OF THE DANTES INFERNO? (I think), and HOLD A DEMON and another person WITHIN THE MERIDIAN. I don’t even think Morgan or his friend have done something like that?!? Has anyone else done that!?! I dunno, but it makes sense as to how he made it if he was used to making worlds so much because of course he’d be used to that if he was making them so often in dreams!!!! So learning dream magic first *as a seer could make the world bend to your will, and that’s both amazing and terrifying to me!!!!!

Dreamer is actually a Seer.

Either in Fooliverse or Both, I can’t tell which yet but there I said it.

(if you’re reading this and also thought that, have heard it among the redacteverse fan & friends and very much considered this practically obvious news not a spoiler, That’s fair and I’m sorry for wasting your time… but do you blame me?! I’m slow. I don’t talk to the ppl )[while posting this on tumblr]

Anyway, yeah it would make sense as to how N’Dellex talks to them in their dream sequence in Fooliverse (you ain’t gonna come out here and try to convince me that this sentient dragon that Erik let us fuck in the obsessed tier, came up with that name on his own for funsies and doesn’t have any sort of ties to any other dream-centric sovereign trapped in some ethereal realm called Death.)Unless Erik is a cruel mistress and changes his fundamentals for his world again [We say “again” because in the Imperium AU, there are no seers because the events of the past changed, preventing them from ever existing]. And remember, the sovereigns can only reach out (touch faith) to seers because they’re sovereign touched. So that’s Fooliverse explained.

In the prime universe, dreamer is about to have an existential crisis over here about how they heard words from the future while in their dream-induced coma. Being latent, the first breath and touch of magic they feel is dream magic, so it’d make sense that they’d gravitate to specializing in that. James and Markus both just assumed they were a dreamwalker since they took over the dream, which- actually being a seer- might explain how that happened! (Tho that might not be true, as we do know that being Latent can lead to explosive/reactive outbursts of repressed magic)

And- I hear you, some of you might be like, ‘but when they do other magic, they struggle! Aren’t seers supposed to be great at all the other magics?’ And while this is true…Dreamer babbee. They still learning and the only other skill we’ve heard them try so far was telekinetic/gravitational magics. Idk in my hc, I’d like to think messin around with gravity .. is REALLY FUCKIN HARD! Lincoln has had years to be forced into growing those skills, he got practice.

I feel like this sort of solidifies my one big hc that Morgan is actually the protagonist of all of redactverse. See if you listen to his story so far (which is what… 6 audios?), you’d learn that only Seers can detect other seers… so maybe lil Dreamer will be getting a meeting with the department (or a Morgan) very soon!

…. Nah but if the dragon just chose that name for fun and has nothing to do with sovereign kind, I’m gonna die and eat my hat. (In that order)

Like, sure if you genuinely aren’t happy with the content, take your money, give your form of constructive criticism, and I guess leave? But I’m sorry- do you not just join Patreon to support the creators you enjoy and want to see what they make!?! Never have I ever joined a Patreon to hound and harass the content creators to make the content to suit my needs!!!? Am I - doing it wrong!?! Is that what Patreon is for now?? Maybe the content creators deserve this if they’re shitty or maybe I’m just blissfully ignorant idk
