why theres been a recurring cabin showing up in my dreams

i remember being annoyed when they finally updated Tachanka’s bio (along with the rest of the OG operators) because I was already knee deep into Tachanka and Skylar’s story, I had it all planned out and I wasn’t sure how I could add the new stuff (i liked) that was added into his bio into Jade Helm. After some though I could easily add his sister and her kids in, the only change i did for that was they didn’t have a good relationship, making it more understandable to why he never mentioned his sister to Skylar. His kids were never going to make it into JH, he wouldn’t have kept something like that from her so they’re in the JH AU. 

Now comes along his elite skin. I always wondered if he had any tattoos but never mentioned it in JH because I wasn’t sure what he would have so I left it. Now it’s way to late for me to mention them in JH since I have described his body in parts and I never mentioned tattoos and I’m annoyed. I want to put them into JH but it won’t make sense, so I’m left with one-shots and maybe a future AU 😔 

I think what bothers me the most is that I’m not a writer who only writes strictly one-shots, I mostly write multi-chapter fics and even though I am appreciative on the new lore and developing Tachanka more, a lot of the new stuff I like I can’t add into the story. And that sucks, all because it came a little bit too late for me. This is when I get a bit jealous of the one-shot writers, they can add in what they liked from whatever operator they write for and it won’t change a thing. But with a multi-chapter fic that’s 20+ chapters deep I don’t have that luxury.
