I did mophead because I kind of had too and then Carrie because he felt the easiest to insert as the secondary character (Monroe is just too noticeably taller meaning I would've needed to rework the body or put mophead in the secondary position and Warwick, as much as I love him, would be impossible for me to draw easily, I'd have to do his face by scratch)
But yeah, my inspo was that leyendecker has a lot of art of soldiers and I wanted to retouch one to look like ersatz.

Nightmare: "What I want is something I can never have... I wasn't made like you. You were prefect! I'm the one who took every flaw between us! I was never meant to be happy! So just leave me be!"
Dream: "Is that what you think? It's not true, Nightmare. I don't believe that-"
Nightmare: "STOP LYING! Lying won't make it better! You show me in other ways how imprefect I am! You know it! Toriel and Asgore knew it too! You're the golden son! But me, I was silver. The less valued! Why else would they make my crown that way! Deep down, they felt that way too..."
Dream: "Your- Your crown? What are you talking about?"
Nightmare: "Don't play the idiot! My silver crown, Dream! Nothing would have stopped them from making it gold like their own! But they chose silver! It was clear from the beginning I never belonged!"
