Online Discussion - No Homo No Hetero: Being Black, Bisexual, & Male in America
When seeking answers to questions regarding healthy identity development and overcoming multiple, intersecting oppressions, Black Bisexual Men have Very Few options.
Join us online on Saturday June 24th 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM (NYC time) explore the impact and challenges of this particular work by discussing identity, race, biphobia, manhood and the intersecting oppression of being Black and Fluid with a panel of MenKind organizers, members, supporters and allies. We will discuss the ever evolving nuances of the Black male bisexual experience: identity, racism, biphobia and media representation; manhood, masculinity, myths, HIV and the overall health, well being and liberation of Black bisexual men.
In that moment of quiet, I screamed, as loud as I could, “I’m bisexual.”

Black Men Talk About Bisexuality and Race On Saturday, June 24th 2017, the Center for Culture, Sexuality, and Spirituality, BiUS Entertainment, and FluidBiDesign hosted a panel discussion entitled, "No Homo, No Hetero: Being Black, Bisexual, and Male in America." Several members of the FluidBiDesign discussion group for sexually fluid men of African descent, MenKind, along with their lovers, supporters, and allies discussed the topic during a 90-minute livestream on YouTube.

J Christopher Neal, bisexual artist, writer, educator and founder of FluidBiDesign, an advocacy group and a community for Bisexual Men of African Descent who conceive of their identity (inclusive of their sexuality, but not limited to) as "fluid". Also the first (openly) Bisexual Grand Marshal of NYC Pride, who along with the rest of the mainstream Gay/Lesbian community have amusingly enough, (so far) steadfastly refused to use the dreaded “B-word” in any description, discussion or bio of him.
