Bad Religion "Recipe For Hate" LP. This is one I picked up last year knowing I needed to have, even if I haven't wanted to listen to it. My 3 essential Bad Religion albums are this, "Stranger Than Fiction", and the "All Ages" compilation... because that's the era of the band I came up in. This is an original US pressing and I am almost giggling with how good it sounds! I grew up listening to this album on a Discman and headphones... but holy shit, listening to the album on a great turntable with nice headphones gives this recording tremendous depth and definition. It's kind of hilarious, but not in a bad way. You just don't expect to be able to apply douchey audiophile terms to a punk album from 1993. Good on them.
