I've been working on this cake, and I think it's finally right!
It's a take on chocolate orange candy! I just added some different colors to make it more fun.
The cake is chocolate with tiny bits of candied orange in the batter, the frosting is orange-flavored buttercream, and there's some chocolate ganache with orange essence between the layers.
The sprinkles are actually made from the same frosting mixture, spread in a stencil and dried until hard.
